Micro explores a world within our own that is invisible to the naked eye, yet plays a vital role in maintaining the balance of our universe. The inspiration for Micro comes from lithographic drawings of the infinitesimal world of micro-organisms, as seen through a microscope by ecologist and artist Ernst Haeckel in the 19th century, many of which were first studied and discovered by him. Afterall, in the big picture, humans are nothing more than micro-organisms of the vast universe, invisible from outer space. Yet somehow each one of us has their unique part to play in maintaining the eco-system of the world. Just like the microscopic beings on earth, each one of us is ‘vital’.
